Adopt a Highway Program

In September, 2005, the club picked up over 20 bags of garbage on the Merriam Mountain Road from Seventh and Hickory streets to Locust Summit. Lions Jerry Malinowski and Jeff Kanezo coordinated the event. The Lions also thank Nick Mattucci of Mattucci's Cafe for supplying the pizza for Lions workers after the highway cleanup.

Our next cleanup will take place on Thursday, May 25th, 2006 beginning at 4:30 PM.
