On May 8, 2008,The Mount Carmel Lions Club honored retiring coach Bob McAndrew for his 10 years of coaching the club’s Teener League Baseball Team.

During Bob's tenure, the Lions won 6 Teener League Championships and finished runner up 4 times. Two of his teams finished with perfect season records. Coach McAndrew’s overall coaching record stands at 149 wins and 33 losses. Coach McAndrew’s achievements are a major reason that the Mount Carmel Lions Club Teener League Baseball Team is the most successful team in league history.
