The Mount Carmel Lions Club participates in this federal program along with Mount Carmel Borough, the Mount Carmel Rotary Club and area Boy Scouts.  Recyclables are picked up every Saturday with the First Ward on the first Saturday of the month, the Second Ward on the second Saturday, and so on.

The Lions Club is responsible for the Second Ward on the second Saturday of the month.

Residents are reminded to separate glass, tin and aluminum. 

Green glass or plastic is not accepted.
